The BFC's Best and Fairest Night was held on Thursday 27th September at the Beaumaris Sports Club. It was a very well attended function with approximately 150 guests arriving over the red carpet.

The value and importance of the 'Tim Russell Mateship Award' has continued to grow at the Club and there was barely a dry eye in the house when Tim was remembered with love and this coveted award in his name was presented with much acclaim to Mitch Bourne.

Later in the evening Jan Kirkby proudly presented the 'Mick Kirkby Club Champion' Trophy to 2018's Best & Fairest winner Lewis Diggins. Lewis was selected in the Senior team for the first time this season & he went on to play 18 games. Having just turned 19 this September, Lewis was also awarded the 'Inaugural President's Rising Star Award'.
