Big Announcement at Season Launch

During the week the Club held its Season Launch, for Club Sponsors, Player Sponsors, Life Members, Coaches and Players, along with members of the Senior and Junior Committees.

The Victorian Amateur Football Association was represented by its President George Voyage and Committee Member
Felicity Frederico.

The night was the perfect vehicle to showcase the new look club rooms, which looked amazing.

The occasion also presented the opportunity for the Beaumaris Community Bank (Bendigo Bank) to announce their sponsorship of the club with a $15,000 cheque. They will sponsor SharkNet, which will assist in job acquisition for players as well as being a platform for community business to business opportunities. In addition their sponsorship will directly assist player welfare and player initiatives. In his introduction, Club President Terry Lucas said he was "delighted to have the Beaumaris Community Bank come on board to sponsor two critical components of the Club's infrastructure".

Principal sponsor Mercedes-Benz Brighton was represented by Russell Morris who reinforced their commitment to the club for another 3 years. This was tremendous news.

Head Coach Guy McKenna spoke about how impressed he's been with the commitment shown by the players to training during the pre-season. He said he's looking forward to a challenging but exciting new season with a number of younger and newer players reinvigorating the Senior group .

The Senior Women's Coach Brent Ward announced that Ellen Wood and Emma Baker will be Co-Captains for the forthcoming season. Congratulations Ellen and Emma.

A reminder that Player Sponsorships are available to purchase by clicking here: http://www.beaumarisfc.com.au/player-sponsorship.php. We urge you to get on board and show support for our Senior Mens, Womens and Under 19s. Lots of good benefits in there as well.

Special thanks to Club Secretary Tracey Francis who has been instrumental in the design and look of the new club rooms as well as Marc Selby who has provided amazing banners, displays and visuals through his business Selbys. http://www.selbys.net/
