Our Senior Womens Team show they will be a force to be reckoned with this year.
Memories live long and hard and for many of our Senior girls last years Preliminary Final will forever be a bitter pill to swallow, so with that motivation they came out firing against dual Premiership winners Hawthorn at RATHMINES ROAD RESERVE on Saturday morning.
The girls started the game with fierce intensity and put the Hawks under pressure they were not used to.
The long pre-season has paid dividends with our fast ball movement and team work being impressive to watch.
We came out winners 4.3-27 to 10.7-67 in a thoroughly convincing display.
Special mention to Ellie Hearne who kicked 5 of the 10 goals.
Best players included Ellie, Sarah Collins, Ellen Wood, Sasha Long, and Sienna Tedde.
