Grig Inspires 2nd Half Resurgence

Chris Grigoriadis inspires Seniors to a 2nd half resurgence and a decisive win over Monash Uni.

In a match winning display out of midfield and across the forward line, powerhouse runner Chris Grigoriadis proved what a dynamic player he is with a match winning five goal performance.

Throughout a lacklustre 2nd Qtr, Chris and fullback Cal Linehan kept us in the game. At half time we were 11 points behind Monash, but a resurgence team came back to score 12 goals to 2 in the 2nd half to win by 9 goals. Two of Grig's 3rd Qtr goals turned the game.

It was in complete contrast to the 2nd Qtr where we kicked a mere 2 points.

Ably assisting Grig and Liners were young guns Riley Virtue (3 goals), Conner Murphy, Oscar McMaster and Nat Bazzani.

Former B&F winners Lewis Diggins and Rob Cathcart were brilliant in the 2nd half, Lewis across half back and Rob across half forward. They were ably assisted by Matt Petering up forward and Scott Gower in defense.

Overall it was really good team display. After the game the Club song was sung with gusto and great spirit.
