McLean to Debut for Swans

Congratulations to former BFC player Hayden McLean who makes his debut for the Sydney Swans senior side against Fremantle in Perth on Saturday night.

This is tremendous news for Hayden who will play along side another former BFC player Oli Florent in that match.

Four years ago a 16 year old Hayden McLean played his 100th BFC Junior Game in the U16's.

In 5 years from the U11s Hayden was either B&F winner or runner up each season. To label him a gun Junior player is an understatement.

Hayden went on to play TAC footy for the Dragons and VFL level for Sandringham FC. Hayden was part of the 2016 premiership winning TAC Dragons side, a team which also included Florent and current Hawk Jack Scrimshaw. He was also Vic Metro V-Captain in 2017.

Hayden was then signed to North Adelaide after winning Sandy's 'Best First Year Player'.

Despite his heavy schedule last year, Hayden still managed to fit in a number of games for BFC's Senior side, which showed tremendous loyalty to our club.

From everyone at the Beaumaris Football Club - Congratulations Hayden!
