The Beaumaris Football Club would like to extend its commiserations to the family of AFL great Danny Frawley who died in a car accident near Ballarat this afternoon.
Danny played 240 games for his beloved St Kilda and was inducted into the Saints 'Hall of Fame' in 2007. He coached Richmond for 133 games and was recently the Head Coach of the Old Haileybury Womens team, which defeated our girls in the Prelim Final last year.
For the many Saints supporters who live in Beaumaris and the surrounding suburbs, this will be devastating news. Danny was a much loved and revered Sainter.
Our condolences also to Haileybury College and the Old Haileybury Football Club.
