It was great to see our Senior Womens team score a good win on Saturday against Old Haileybury, particularly after the devastating injury to Jess Wall, which prematurely terminated the game last weekend against Old Mentonians.
More so because the girls in our Senior Womens team put in a lot of help and encouragement around the club. Last week Senior players Simone Payton, Katrina Bateman, Sophie Rayside and Sanchia Watts presented jumpers to our U12 Girls, as well as attending training.
This is tremendous to see!
Also great to see that Sanchia has become one of the faces of VAFA's 'Womens Footy' promotional program.
