Part Time Bar Operations people required – Beaumaris Football Club
The Beaumaris Football Club (“BFC”) is seeking a person (or people in a joint shared role) to fill the position of Bar Operations Supervisor(s) for the upcoming football season which runs from April 1 to September 30 (the role may extend into cricket season). A Joint role is certainly acceptable to the BFC as it allows flexibility in terms of weekly/weekend availability and illness.
Specific duties
- Coordinating a bar roster including the use of volunteers
- Ensuring bar is appropriately stocked including submitting timely purchase orders with the local IGAS and other suppliers
- Liasing with the BFC Committee regarding event planning and staffing
- Working Saturdays form 5pm – 11.30pm including closing up
- Working Sunday’s from 5pm – 9pm including closing up
- Working Friday’s from 5pm – 10pm including closing
- Ensure appropriate staffing and supervision (volunteer or otherwise) for all operational times.
Specific hours
- We anticipate the role requiring approximately 30 hours per week. As stated above this can be a shared role.
- It is a requirement of the position that Saturday’s 5pm – 11.30pm be worked
- All other hours are flexible although preference will be given to a candidate that can commit to regular Thursday and Friday evening attendance from 5-10pm.
Attributes Required
The successful candidate(s) will need to demonstrate :
- Excellent people skills with a focus on customer service and leadership;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- An ability to be committed, punctual and reliable;
- Trustworthiness as the handling of cash is part of the role;
- Bar Operational experience would be helpful but is not a necessity;
Remuneration
Remuneration is negotiable and will be commensurate with the successful candidate(s) experience
