During the week girls from our U10s & U12s received a visit from AFLW superstar and former Beauie junior Kate Hore.
Kate was representing 'Tackle Your Feelings" a mental health awareness program sponsored by Zurich.
Kate presented the girls with footys, bibs and bags and took them through some kicking practice.
It was a great experience for our girls who loved chatting with Kate, who played over 60 games as a BFC junior in the years just prior to 'all girls' teams. We knew back then that Kate was a special player.
Maybe the extra kicking practice paid off for Kate who kicked 3 goals for Melbourne FC yesterday in a best on ground performance against Adelaide.
