It was a great weekend for Beaumaris Footy Club families on the weekend.
Firstly, we had Gen Gori play her 50th game at the Senior level, becoming the first female to do so at the Club. Congratulations Gen on this historic achievement. (pictured here with her Mum Fleur).
Secondly, we had current U18s player Ashley Van Rooyen play in her first Senior game in the Womens Firsts team, a tremendous achievement. Ashley is 16 years old. Well done Ashley (pictured here with her Mum Charmaine)
Thirdly, we had two great clubmen making their debuts in the BFC Seniors team – Mitchell Scott and Cooper Ryan. Mitchell started at the BFC in the Under9s and played his 164th game for club on Saturday (Juniors & Seniors). Similarly, Cooper started in the Under 11s and his first game in the Seniors team was his 132nd BFC game. He capped of the day by kicking 3 goals. Congratulations to both guys!
