U16s Div 1 Deliver an Imposing Win to Celebrate Calsher’s 100th Game
With an almost full-strength team playing on Sunday our Under 16 Div 1 team put an compelling stamp on the competition with an electrifying win against the East Brighton Vampires at Jack Barker Oval.
Calsher Dear, who is the team’s No 1 ruckman, certainly is a team favourite and all the boys rose to the occasion to defeat a long term rival. The team sits on top of the ladder, undefeated.
Jett Butler kicked 6 goals and was ably assisted by Mitch Kirkwood Scott with 4, Tom Baguley (2) and the enigmatic Alex Thow (2).
It’s difficult to isolate better players in such a good win when there were so many contributors and star players across the ground, but our Facebook team reckons Aiden McCarthy, Charlie Bruce and Oscar Newstead are three players to keep an eye on.
