Last Sunday was 'Dare to Hope' day for our club and Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL.
Both clubs were honoring the legacy of Paul Dear and the charity foundation set up in his honour to help raise awareness in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
Both Under 17s Boys teams proudly displayed their 'Dare to Hope' socks, one team post game and the other pre game.
It was also a show of respect for valued team mate Calsher and his brother Nate, (under 19s co-captain), who were with their mother Cherie at the MCG. Cherie gave a heart felt speech in honour of her late husband prior to the game against the West Coast Eagles.
On Saturday our Under 19s also wore the socks in honour of Paul and the 'Dare to Hope' campaign.
In these times it's quite remarkable how the BFC community 'locks in' together.
Respect, Love and Support.
