Kye Turner Added to Demons List

It’s every young footy player’s dream to make it onto an AFL list.

For former Beauy player Kye Turner that dream became a reality this week when he was added to the Melbourne Demons rookie list for season 2023.

Kye was no stranger to the spotlight at the BFC having won our Under 19s Best & Fairest in 2021.

Kye started with the BFC in our Under 9’s in 2010 having just turned 8 in February. He was a constant in our Division 1 teams up until 2019 when he started playing in the BFC Under 19s.

In 2017 Kye played a key role in the BFC U15 Division 1 premiership, coached by Stu Spencer.

Not tall as a youngster, Kye went on a growth spurt in his mid-teens and that height elevated him to playing key forward roles. In all Kye played 128 games for the BFC including 112 Junior games.

A constant in Kye’s career at the BFC was his Dad Brett, who for many years was one of the most respected Team Managers in the club. We know Brett will be a very proud Dad.

Kye is a tremendous young man and the BFC wishes him all the best for what lies ahead at the Melbourne Football Club. We know he’ll do us proud.

Congratulations Kye.
