It’s been a busy couple of weeks on and off the track for our Senior Mens and U19s.
Across 2 weekends the coaches held an in-house camp at the club to outline their playing strategies for the forthcoming season. It gave the players a chance to acquaint themselves with the new coaching group lead by Josh Bourke (Seniors) and Justin Wilson (U19s).
On the field, the training has been intense and really well attended. Despite the heat last night, the players seemed inspired by the challenge offered by Assistant Coaches Mick Lovejoy, Nick Moodie and Stephen Milne.
There was no holding back in some of the drills with tackling, marking and high-speed support running at the forefront. The close-in drills were also done at pace. It was a high-octane session.
The boys welcomed back former premiership player Mitch Howes, who is looking forward to returning to the fold and kicking some goals.
Don’t forget to sponsor your favourite player. This sponsorship is so important, particularly for the players themselves. Click Here for all the details.
Next week we’ll give you an update on the Womens team and how they’re travelling.
