The start of the VAFA season is only 4 weeks away and our Senior teams have all been putting in the hard work across the preseason in preparation, none more so than the U19s.
This year, the U19s will be boosted by a significant influx of players from last year’s strong U17s group. You may remember that both U17s teams performed exceptionally well last season, the Division 1 team going on to win the all-important U17 Div 1 Boys Premiership. Let's not also forget that there will be a number of Under 19 boys from last season still eligible to play at this level again in 2023. They will be keen to carry on from a successful 2022 season which saw them make the Preliminary Final.
This year, there’ll be two U19s teams representing the BFC, which is tremendous news.
If pre-season training is any guide, then these two teams will give the competition a real shake this season.
