It was a gutzy win by our U16 Div 1 Girls on Sunday overcoming a very good East Brighton team by just 5 points.
Both teams displayed lots of skill and determination on the wide-open spaces of Banksia Reserve in windy conditions.
After a tough game the girls celebrated their win with a pumped-up version of the club’s victory song.
Joining the players post game were a number of girls from the Senior Women’s team who came down to support the girls and their teammate Jemima Savage who did the coaching duties on the day. Great to see and well done Jemima.
Final score: BFC 4.7-31 – East Brighton 3.8-26
