We’ve finally arrived, the last weekend of Juniors footy for the 2023 season.
To cap off a tremendous year, we’ll be playing in 5 Grand Finals.
Significantly, our two oldest Div 1 teams will be competing for the prized U17.5 Div 1 Boys and the U18 Div 1 Girls Premierships. These are the pinnacle divisions of Junior boys and girls football. Both will be tremendous games.
The U16 Div 1 Girls have had to incur a couple of major outs due to injuries sustained last Sunday, but the girls are tough and willing and there’s no doubt their coaches Daz and Jemima will have them pumped up for the encounter.
The Under 15 Div 4 Boys will be in a tough battle against the No 1 ranked stand-alone Murrumbeena team, but Coach Chris Wells has been here before. Don’t discount these guys.
The U14 Div 4 Boys have been great all season and for our 3rd team in this year level for boys, they have performed brilliantly. They had a hiccup in their first semi, but bounced back brilliantly in the Prelim final. This could go either way against Ajax.
