Linners appointed Captain of VAFA Big V Rep Team
In a fitting acknowledgment of his tremendous contribution to VAFA and his undeniable skills as a player, BFC Captain, Cal Linehan has been appointed Captain of the VAFA Premier B - Division 3 Rep team. This team will play the Bendigo Football League at Elsternwick Park on Saturday July 6 from 2pm. Cal will be joined by teammates Cal Heath and Riley Virtue in the starting lineup.
This match will follow the VAFA Holmesglen Under 19 Showcase game at 11.40am, with both matches to be streamed live on VAFA.com.au.
Last Saturday, Linners celebrated his 150th VAFA game against De La Salle, having started his Senior career back in 2015 in the U19s. Cal was appointed BFC Club Captain at the start of the season.
Shout out also to the BFC players who made the U19s squad, Aiden McCarthy, Carlos Reynolds, Mitch Davidson and Ned Bodi. Well done guys!
