Congratulations to BFC Junior Arki Butler is making an impact on the big stage.
Arki was recently selected in the U16 Boys All Australian Team. This team was announced at the conclusion of the recent U16s National Championships run by the AFL.
To put this achievement into perspective, Arki was only one of two Vic Metro representatives and the sole rep from the SMJFL selected in the team. Players were selected from all parts of Australia.
Arki played outstandingly throughout the carnival and was Vic Metro’s ‘Best’ in two of their three games and leading goal kicker.
Arki started playing at the BFC in the Under 8s and is now a key member of the BFC U16 Div 1 team. He won’t be playing this Sunday, however you’ll be able to catch him on Sunday week at Banksia against the red hot East Brighton Vampires. Game start at 1:15pm. High quality footy!
