Cootey reaches 350 Games

Cootey to play 350th Game and become the first Shark to do so.

This Saturday 10th, the Club will honour one of its greatest servants, Sean Coote, who will play his 350th Senior game. (ie all games in the Senior Section of the club). He is the first BFC player to do so.

Cootey will line up in our Men’s Reserves team for the game against Williamstown CYMS at 11:40am. Prior to these 350 Senior games, Sean played well over 100 Junior games, having started at the Club as an 8-year-old in 1989. 35 incredible years of endurance and loyalty. On top of that, Cootey has been an outstanding footballer and one of the greatest defenders to wear the Blue & Gold.

Cootey is a multiple premiership winning player and won the Club’s Best & Fairest in 2006. He became a regular in the Senior team in 2002, having been runner up in the U19s B&F in the 2001. An amazing career.

Cootey's contribution also continues off the field as a valued member of the Club's Committee.

We encourage all BFC supporters to come down on Saturday and honour one of our greats.

GO SHARKS & GO COOTEY!
