Big congratulations to Fiona Love who was crowned ‘Woman of the Year’ at the recent lunch for BFC ladies at the Black Rock Yacht Club.
Fiona is of course our Juniors President and was bestowed the coveted honour in great style by last year’s winner, Juniors Secretary Christine Davidson, to the delight of the full house.
For many years Fiona has been a dedicated and hard-working volunteer whose commitment to the girl’s football program, in particular, cannot be understated. She has held many positions on the Junior Committee, been a Team Manager, Coach, Shark of the Month host and just about everything else. She’s always there to help and serve.
As the current Juniors President, Fiona sits on the Senior Committee where she is a valued contributor.
Well done Fiona, a deserved ‘Woman of the Year’.
