The Beaumaris Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Calogero as the Senior Women’s Coach for the upcoming 2025 VAFA Season. Sam is a well-credentialled coach who has extensive experience within girls and women’s programs. Most recently, Sam has been involved within the Girls Sandringham Dragons U/18s Coates Talent League program. A Level 3 accredited coach, Sam has high aspirations for our group and believes that these can be realised through the building of authentic relationships and genuine care for each other. Given the strong bond within our playing group we consider it a coup for our club to have a person of Sam’s calibre and experience wanting to join Beaumaris.
Upon Sam accepting the role, President Nick Heath said, “Sam comes to the Sharks as a parent of 2 girls and with an impressive resume and experience spanning in excess of 25 years. Sam’s coaching style is built around caring for his players, building trust and, importantly, having fun which makes him a great fit for our talented and developing group. Welcome aboard, Sam!
