It was a packed house last Sunday when the Beaumaris Community gathered at Oak Street to honour a favourite son, Andy Sheldrake, after his sudden passing eleven days earlier. Andy was a Life Member and Legend of both the Beauy Football & Cricket Clubs and a highly regarded member of the teaching profession, especially after his years at Huntingdale Tech and it was great to see over 250 family, friends, teammates and colleagues gather to send him off in a manner that befitted his personality – positive, energetic, musical & with plenty of warm and humorous stories.
